Magnus von Wright (1805-1868) was a Swedish-Finnish painter, cartographer, taxidermist and ornithologist. Signed and inscribed on decorative end page by Swedish Nobel Laureate in Poetry Verner von Heidenstam, page includes the poet's photographic portrait [translated]: "This book is being distributed in favor of the trust that has been initiated for Swedish fauna. With this copy I would like to express my thanks for the support that has been given to the trust."
