Image depicts an eastern screech owl (identified at bottom as a Mottled Owl), a meadowlark, a black and white warbler (identified at bottom as a Black and white creeper), and a pine warbler (identified at bottom as a pine-creeping warbler). Alexander Wilson (1766-1813) was a Scottish-American naturalist and poet, considered the "Father of American Ornithology".
