The first of the two prints shows His Royal Highness Prince Albert standing in a military outfit in front of a man with a horse. The print of Queen Victoria has her standing on a balcony wearing a crown. George Baxter was a master printer who used multiple techniques to create a painting-like look, which became known as Baxter printing. He is credited with the invention of commercially viable color printing.
