New York: Designers & Books, 2016.
A recent facsimile which includes only material that was in the 1927 original, reproduced as faithfully as possible, with artwork showing the original printing quality permutations, entirely un-retouched. Illustrated throughout with Depero's futuristic work in painting, sculpture, architecture, theater and commercial designs, but above all his experimental avant-garde typography, all printed on paper of various colors, weights, and textures, plus 4 tissue (glassine) pages and 1 two-panel gatefold. Oblong 4to, blue printed paper boards (light wear at corners and some small loss of text in lower corner of cover. Bound with 2 large aluminum bolts, nuts and cotter pins - a system designed for pages to be removed, rearranged or exhibited individually. A near fine copy.
Printed in Italy and published in New York by Designers & Books, in association with The Center for Italian Modern Art (New York), and Museo di arte moderna e contemporanea di Trento e Rovereto -- MART (Italy). Limited edition - number 843 of 1000 copies printed. In concept and execution, Depero Futurista is regarded as the first modern-day artist's book and an avant-garde "book as object" masterpiece.
