New York: 1937.
Scarce A.L.S. of "Clifford W. Beers". 4to. 1 page, International Committee for Mental Hygiene, New York, October 18th 1937, to acclaimed photographer Pirie MacDonald. It reads in full: "Instead of re-reading some of the first pages of my story before we meet tomorrow, it will I believe, be more helpful if you will read the enclosed "personality" story from the Survey Graphic. It tells me what I have accomplished since I began my work about twenty-five years ago. If you haven't written your autobiography you should do so!" Fine.
