Published by the U.S. Geological Survey after the San Francisco Earthquake and Fire of 1806, this map shows the boundary of the burned area and the "district covered largely by brick structures." Originally included as part of Humphrey's 1907 report titled "The San Francisco Earthquake and Fire of April 18, 1906 and their Effects on Structures and Structural Materials." The San Francisco earthquake and fire are considered to be the worst natural disaster in Californian history. Good condition.
