It is our opinion that this image of Martini is most likely from an independent Mexican cinema production, early 1940's. Boldly signed: "To Nat Bier, My Sincere Regards, Nino Martini. Fine.

Italian operatic tenor and actor who appeared in American films in the 1930's and 1940's.

The book came and what a treasure, thank you! It was autographed on one of the early pages by the author, to the famous British writer Rebecca West. I like this author, James Milne, and am thrilled to have a book autographed by him, and to someone like Rebecca West, too! One never knows what one will find in an old book!
