Letter Signed. Folio, 1 page, Treasury Chamber, London, March 27th 1794, to the British Purchasing Agent, John Turner, advising him that a shipment for the troops at Nova Scotia and St. John's Island is ready for shipping, in part: "As there is not any vessel bound direct for St. John's proposing to consign the goods intended for that Island to Governor John Wentworth, to be forwarded by him to St. John's. I am commanded by their Lordship to acquaint you that they approve of your sending the goods you have purchased...". The letter is uniformly toned with the usual folds, otherwise in very good condition.
