1 page, 11 x 8.5 inches, New York, March 23, 1915, to fellow illustrator [Charles] Olson, asking for a contribution of a drawing, in full: "Will you contribute to the souvenir menu for the Cobb dinner on April 25th -- Some little drawing of Cobb + could I have it before next Tuesday? Gibson has promised something so you'll be in good company -- I happen to be charwoman of the bloody menu 'community.'" Note: The above event took place in honor of Irvin S. Cobb for inclusion in a privately printed book consisting of "Friendly Tributes upon the Occasion of a Dinner Tendered in his honor, at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel." Minor fraying at the right-hand margin and a tiny chip at the lower left corner; very good(-) condition.
