Illingworth, who commanded the Queen Mary during World War II, when Prime Minister Winston Churchill and his staff commandeered her for a special mission, in part: "...The Prime Minister has asked me to send you the attached message. He asks that you personally will accept the enclosed photograph as a slight memento of the voyage. May I add the sincere thanks of all the Prime Minister's personal staff to you and all under your Command, who have looked after us in every way so well..." Very good(+) condition.
