Yeats was a regular and leading contributor of essays outlining his artistic principles. Other contributors include Lady Gregory, J.M. Synge, Douglas Hyde & George Moore. Six of the volumes are in exceptionally fine condition. No. 6, Containing the play "Hyacinth Halvey", is heavily annotated in an unknown hand, with stage directions and interleaved with holograph pages from a notebook. The wrappers on this issue are somewhat worn & reinforced with brown tape on the back cover. The set is housed in a custom made cloth folding case with a leather label.
