1 page, 10.75 x 8.25 inches, Hotel Warner, Chicago, July 23, 1926, to noted book and autograph dealer Oliver R. Barrett, attempting to sell his fathers papers, in part: "...I have in my hands for disposal the correspondence of the late Sir Edwin Arnold with the notables of the Victorian era. The collection is not large, but it possesses interesting features (about 150 items). I should be very happy to submit it to if you would care to look it over." Natural folds, two tiny closed tears in the margins, and a faint paperclip impression at the top -- still in very good condition.
British explorer and traveler best known for his association with Henry Morton Stanley.
