9.75 x 7.75-inch color photo of McNair dressed in his NASA suit and posing in front of a model of the ill-fated Space Shuttle Challenger -- no place, no date, circa 1985. Inscribed on the right side with a black marker: "To Alvin Carl Kentz, Best wishes, Ron McNair." Matted in white and handsomely set in a blue frame, matching his NASA suit, measuring 15 x 12.75 inches. Fine condition.
American physicist and NASA astronaut who died at the age of 35 during the launch of the Space Shuttle Challenger on January 28, 1986.
