Scarce Signature in Arabic
1957.
Signed "Ali S. Aga Khan" on a souvenir page measuring 2.25 x 5.75 inches, no place, no date, circa 1957, identifying him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary - Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations. Collectors of United Nations material have always realized the difficulty in acquiring anything signed by Khan during his tenure with that agency. Boldly signed and in near fine condition.
Socialite, playboy, and racehorse owner, best remembered as the third husband of actress Rita Hayworth. In 1957 he served as the Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations and Vice-President of the General Assembly. He died in an automobile accident in 1960 at the age of 49.
