Du Bois Collection, in full: "We have now cataloged the books from the Du Bois Collection which we need in this library. We have not yet gone into the pamphlets. I enclose herewith a list of the duplicates, which we are now prepared to sell or trade. Is there anything of interest to you?" Bontemps made sure material from the Du Bois collection ended up at Fisk University, Howard University, and the Schomberg Library. Near fine condition.
