Unusual pocket map following the path of the Hudson River from New York City to Glenville in Warren County, circa 1846. Each county the river passes through has been differentiated with color and notable towns and cities are marked along the way. As a "Traveller's Companion" the map provides lists of distances of various U.S. cities from Washington, hotels, and lengths of U.S. canals. Title in decorative motif. Map in good condition with some toning and very few splits along folds. Some edge wear, especially along right margin, with part of the right border missing.
