Lovely original watercolor of Jazz icon Dinah Washington. Undated, circa 1950. Dinah Washington (1924-1963) was a renowned singer and pianist. She was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993. Stuyvesant van Veen (1910-1988) was best known for his large-scale social realism style murals. His watercolors and portraits are rare.
