Chatty Typed Letter Signed "Joey" on personal letterhead

Hollywood: 1968.

2 pages, 10.5 x 7.25 inches, Hollywood, February 26, 1968. Written to Harry Harris of The Philadelphia Inquirer, supplying him with a list of what he believes is the ultimate dream show consisting of Philadelphia talent, in part: "...It would not be a question of nominating ten people or 'acts' that might make up a well-balanced 'dream show', but rather which network would be able to give us the time to show all of the talents from Philly. However, this would be my choice: Bill Cosby as host; Guy Marks - Impressions; Eddie Fisher - (doing his Jolson medley); Buddy Greco, Frankie Avalon, Bobby Rydell, Fabian, and Al Martino as a group doing 'That Old Gang of Mine'; Susan Barrett singing 'Going Out of my Head'...I would have Mickey Callan dance, surrounded by all the broads who ever worked the Latin Casino...I was sorry to see that in your nominations I was not included with the jazz greats as a Jazz Mandolinist, or with the concert group as Second Mandolinist, or with the string bands as Jewish Mandolinist. However, I forgive you for this oversight." Two horizontal folds; fine condition.

American actor and comedian best known as a member of the "Rat Pack" with Frank Sinatra, Peter Lawford, Sammy Davis Jr., and Dean Martin.
