Superb vintage 1919 photograph, measuring 11.5 x 9 inches, posed as "Gilda" in Rigoletto, Strauss Pehym Studio Photographers stamp. Inscribed to a noted benefactor of the Metropolitan Opera House during the golden era: "A Genevieve Kraft, coi migliou auguri di Nina Morgana, 1919." Two tiny chips at the lower corners; otherwise fine.

American soprano opera star from New York State best known for her recitals with Enrico Caruso. She married Bruno Zirato who had been Caruso's personal assistant and later, manager of the Philharmonic Orchestra.
