This almanac was published with 67 blank pages. They contain contemporary manuscript annotations by an itinerant minister from southeastern Pennsylvania. Most of the notations consist of the name of the person he met with, the name of the town or city the meeting took place in, and the miles the minister travelled that day. John Tobler, a Swiss immigrant to the United States, wrote several almanacs, including one on South Carolina. Tobler died in 1765. His almanacs continued to be published after 1765 using his astronomical calculations. This almanac was first published for the year, 1754. Evans 8269. Drake 9806.
