Bristol Pad, 11 x 17 inches, with 19 original ink drawings. Each is signed and dated, as is the front cover of the pad. 1961. First two drawings are slightly damaged in margin, and one of those is taped on rear; pad neatly re-backed in plain black cloth.
Purdy, a prolific novelist, playwright and poet, is also an artist. These free-flowing line drawings depict bird-like forms, & human faces. Some are totally abstract or non-objective.
