Written by the American author of children's and young people's books to a reader, in part: "...I am so glad you like The Little Girl in Old Boston for I like her very much myself. And I knew an old lady once who remembered a good deal about Boston in her childhood. Cities change so much, and I suppose more in the last twenty years than in the forty preceding ones..." Horizontal fold with slight browning along the creases; very good(-) condition.
