This work, first published in 1521, established the new literary genre of Marconic verse. The longest piece in the work is a fantastical story in which a prince and his cohorts meet their doom inside a giant pumpkin, where such "liars" as poets, philosophers, etc. are tortured by such methods as diabolical dentistry. Brunet 1319. Brunet notes that this edition may have been published in Naples.
