Written to a member of "The Herald" regarding a speech he gave at a dinner, in large part: "...I haven't a copy of the speech I made at the Publishers' dinner. Not one word of it was ever written. I have no idea what kind of a report of it your Virginia correspondent saw. Hence I am utterly in the dark as to what he is driving at..." Horizontal folds and a small hole on the upper right portion of the page; very good(-) condition.
