Folio (15" x 11.25" x 1.5"), beautifully bound by F. Bedford in full red morocco with ornately gilt spine covers and inner dentelles; expertly recased, lightly rubbed, cloth slipcase (rubbed). London: William Pickering, 1851. A very good(+) copy with light scattered foxing.

One of several works by the noted English antiquary "That are rendered of permanent value by the knowledge and taste displayed in the selection of the examples by which they are illustrated, and by the careful drawing and colouring of the plates". DNB XVII 1375. Previous owner's bookplate.
