An astonishing expose by the beautiful actress who was the Duke's mistress. She was charged by Col. Wardle with receiving bribes for obtaining commissions through her influence with the Duke. This scandal raised a cloud of pamphlets, of which this is by far the most curious and amusing. After being imprisoned for libel in 1813, she moved to Paris, where she died 35 years later.
Condition: Very Good(+)
