Warsaw: 1900.
2 pages together measuring 7.25 x 9 inches, Hotel Bruhl, Warsaw, May 16, 1900. Written to "Carissimo Maestro" in St. Petersburg, Russia, explaining how the whole Warsaw press has unanimously praised her and hoping the "Maestro" can find time to join her in Poland. In the aftermath, she has written to their mutual friend and fellow opera star Pietro Cesari and is concerned that her current contract is scheduled to conclude on the 24th. Either way, she sends her greetings to friends in St. Petersburg and signs herself as a most devoted and affectionate good friend ("buono amica"). Heavy horizontal fold, but still in near fine condition.
