7.25 x 5-inch sepia-tone bust-portrait of Thomas dressed in a suit and tie, gazing just past the camera -- no place, no date, circa 1925. Signed in white ink at the bottom: "sincerely yours, John Charles Thomas." Matted in brown and set in a gold and brown frame measuring 11.25 x 9 inches. Fine condition.
American opera singer who performed at The Met from 1934 to 1943 and was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1960.
