Beverly Hills, CA: 1960.
The cover of this card measures 8 x 3.5 inches and features a beautiful, original watercolor painting of a flowing river with a little red schoolhouse on its bank, surrounded by snow and an overcast sky, signed "DSM." The letter on the inside, measuring 8 x 7 inches, was written to powerful "Philadelphia Inquirer" television critic Harry Harris, in part, "As I remember it, this won't be nearly as good as the one I painted you for Christmas last year. I send my love and thanks and heartfelt wishes for health and happiness, Dinah." Accompanied by the original handwritten envelope, postmarked on May 6, 1960, in Beverly Hills, California, with a calling card, humorously signed, "Dear Harris, I never forget anything I remember, Dinah." All three items are in fine condition.
