Napa, CA: 1970.
3 pages, 8 x 6 inches, Napa, California, December 3, no year, circa 1970. Signed "Jessamyn" by the Quaker-American writer to fellow writer Jean Stafford, in part: "I can't tell you how proud touched surprised - and abashed I was too to find your name in the B.O.M. booklet. I think it a terrible waste of Stafford prose, but I don't mourn too much on that score, figuring your riches equal to considerable spendthriftiness...Anyway it was an exceedingly generous thing to do..." One horizontal fold; near fine.
