New York: G.P. Putnam's Sons, (1951). Limited First Edition. A near fine copy in a very good(+) cloth slipcase, which is slightly faded along one edge.
No. 45 of 385 numbered copies. Signed "Edward" in black ink on the limitation page and inscribed in his hand with sky-blue ink below: "To Lytle and Helen with best wishes, April 1951." Accompanied by a 7 x 5-inch page of royal stationery with the same inscription, additionally signed "Edward" and again written in the Duke's neat, distinctive hand. He seems to have practiced writing out the inscription on this separate piece of paper before inscribing the book.
