Accompanied by a second photograph, 9 x 7 inches, depicting Hayakawa as he appeared in an episode of the 1960s television show "Route 66." Creased on the upper right; very good(+) condition.
Japanese actor who became successful in Europe, Asia, and the United States as a marquis performer from the early 1900s to the 1960s. He is best remembered for his role as Colonel Saito in the film "The Bridge on the River Kwai," for which he received an Academy Award nomination.
