Bennett (future Rector of Trinity Church in New York City), appreciating his solace during difficult times, in part: "...I cannot tell you how much good your beautiful sermons did me last summer and what strength and uplift I derived from them. I often longed to talk to you and tell you my troubles...but did not seem to find the opportunity..." Natural folds; near fine condition.
