Confederate Lieutenant who served as an aide-de-camp to Stonewall Jackson. He was present at Gaines Mill when it was revealed that General Robert E. Lee's Order detailing the entire movement for the attack on General McClellan was found in the possession of the enemy. Referred to as "Lee's Lost Order," it was addressed to General D.H. Hill and was recovered at the McGhee farm by soldiers of the 1st Maryland.
