Written to fellow artist and acclaimed sculptor Robert Laurent, in small part: "...I'm sending the painting out immediately - unfortunately I have no frame to fit it. We're looking forward to having a Laurent in our collection - Do you think you'll be in New York before the 15th? If not - you can leave the torso at the Rosenberg Galleries - or Mary Kellner - whichever is more convenient..." Two horizontal folds; small crease on the lower left corner. Very good condition.
