11 x 9.25 inches, no place, no date, circa 1930. This exceptional and very scarce full-body photograph shows Sothern dressed in a full gown with fur shoulder wraps -- most definitely a pre-MGM photograph and without doubt one of the earliest signed photos to come to market. Inscribed near the lower right corner with excellent contrast: "to Herman Baradinski All good wishes, "Harriet Lake." Near fine condition.
American film and television actress who started her career in 1929 using her given name "Harriet Lake," changing her name to Ann Sothern in 1933. Her successful career spanned over six decades.
