Only edition of this Italian grammar, reader and pronunciation guide by the professor of Italian and English in Paris. It is aimed at assisting those wishing to develop basic reading skills and conversational competence rather than translating or compositional expertise. This emphasis on the practical is carried forth in the exercises following each lesson, as well as in the choice of examples used to illustrate various rules and their exceptions.
