British-born American stage actor and film star who achieved great success in the role of Brutus in "Julius Caesar." He entered films in 1914 and played leading roles until age forced him into playing villainous characters and desperadoes. While filming "The Miracle Man" in 1931, Power suffered a massive heart attack and died in the arms of his 17-year-old son, Tyrone Power (Tyrone Edmund Power Jr., as he was legally named).
