New York: 1981.
1 page on personal letterhead, 7 x 6.25 inches, New York City, March 8, 1981. Written to her friend and fellow author Bel Kaufman, with a reference to "84 Charing Cross Road," in part: "This is to thank you not so much for thinking I'm marvelous as for telling Flora I'm marvelous. I always say the only person who has to think you're great is your agent. So glad to know you liked "84" and "Duchess", it's a special thrill to be approved of by a fellow-writer -- and such a successful one as your good self." Two small ink smudges; still very good(+) condition.
American writer best known as the author of "84 Charing Cross Road," which became the basis for a stage play, television production, and motion picture of the same name.
