Buenos Aires: 1947.
Superb black-and-white photograph measuring 10 x 8 inches -- an early chest-up image of Peron in full uniform. Inscribed to powerful Argentinean Senator Dr. Francisco Cavello Rico, Buenos Aires, January 16, 1947. Boldly signed in white ink, attractively floated in a white sunken matte and set in a brown beaded wooden frame measuring 17 x 14.5 inches. Very good(+) condition with outstanding contrast.
Argentinean dictator deposed in a military coup but returned to power in the 1970s. His administration much improved the nation's welfare, but was marred by graft and corruption.
