14.25 x 12.25-inch cartoon that was completed as a work for hire while employed by The New Yorker Magazine in 1968. Darrow has drawn a middle-aged man who has just come home from work and finds his wife and her friends sitting at a table reading a book. He picks up a copy and sarcastically states, "Well! The Valley Of The Dolls!" Boldly signed in full with "The New Yorker Magazine" copyright stamp on the back. Uneven toning; very good(-) condition.
