New York: Braziller, 1968. Limited. hardcover. 2 volumes in slipcase. Thick 4tos, bound in publisher's brown leather with gilt spines to mimic the original binding of the Pepys Manuscript (spine a bit dulled; outer joints worn; internally fine). New York: Braziller, 1986. Limited edition -- number 172 of 1200 copies. very good.
Full color facsimile of the Phillipps Manuscript (Books 1 - 9) and the Pepys Manuscript (Books 10-15). This was once a single manuscript - The Caxton manuscript of 1480, but were long-separated. Pepys left this to Magdalene College, and The Phillipps copy was re-discovered in 1964. The pair are finally re-joined here in this handsome presentation.
