Stunning wall map of Europe from the Atlantic to the Caspian Sea with rare geological manuscript additions. Shows in great detail towns and cities, major routes, railroads, waterways and topographical features. Published as an educational tool for libraries and other institutions. Coloring according to geological outcrops (denoting various ages: Jurassic, Triassic, Tertiary etc.) was added later. This map is an excellent early example of 19th century geological maps. In very good condition with minor overall wear.
