Bourges, France: 1929.
Very scarce autographed letter signed on the back of a French postal card, 3 x 5 inches, Bourges Observatory, France, November 28, 1929, in French, assuring the recipient that he has in fact sent the issues of the publication requested. Some smudging along the bottom edge; still very good condition.
French astronomer and meteorologist who initiated the Bourges Observatory. He observed surface features of the Moon and Mars which were published as "A review of astronomical theories and techniques." A crater on Mars is named in his honor.
