A community of apple peelers, pumpkin carvers and dancers. Winslow Homer, born in 1836 in Massachusetts, was a consummate American artist of his day. His contemporary scenes were from all strata of life. He worked until his death in 1910. Chipping to left edge, and a small tear to bottom left edge.
