Case map of three maps pertaining to the Amazon River and it's surrounding area. Embossed cloth cover with gilt title; on the back is embossed "House Document". Some wear to spine and front cover, but all three maps are attached. First map is "Map of the Valley of the Amazon" (by H.C. Elliot), with lithographed color outline. Minor scattered foxing and stains from original glue to booklet. Measures 17.75" x 23.25". "Plan del curso de los Rios Huallaga y Ucayali y de la Pampa del Sacramento" offers a closer look at the two smaller rivers. Small tear to right side of map where it hinges to booklet, minor wear along edges, light scattered foxing. Measures 15.25" x 10.5". Main map is entitled "Map of the Rivers Huallaga, Ucayali & Amazon", a beautiful minimal chart of the rivers. Light scattered foxing, some wear and tear to folds, stains from original glue to cover. Measures 25.25" x 56.5".
