Four pages written front and back with each two-page spread measuring 7 x 9 inches, no place, December 12, 1897, in small part: "...Do you remember the pleasant evening we spent years ago at 'Nouron Ayers' where my fellow citizens entertained us at dinner on the occasion of my election as President of the Royal Society. Since then a lot has happened..." Small pieces of mounting tape on the left margin of the first page. Very good condition.
