First editions of the expansion of his earlier work of 1822. Poncelet was a mathematician and engineer who did much to revive the concept of projective geometry. He conceived & drafted this work while a prisoner of war in Russia. Despite the disbound condition, the volumes are internally clean, with a minimum of foxing.
