Boldly signed on the front; handwritten note in Italian on the back to his friend Riccardo Stracciari, whom Caruso addresses as "Celebre Artista Lirico." Accompanied by a translation: "Thanks for your note that gave me so much pleasure. I'm all right [in English]. I thank God and the newspapers with their stupid stories for keeping alive the public's and our friends' curiosity about me." Beautifully framed in double glass with brown and gold beaded frame measuring 9.75 x 7.5 inches. Near fine condition.
