San Marino: 1978.
2 pages on personal letterhead, 10 x 7.25 inches, San Marino, California, April 12, 1978. Signed "Joe" by the policeman-turned-author, famous for his realistic police stories, to fellow author Leon Uris, in part: "...I did very well with my Choirboys lawsuit. By legal agreement, I cannot reveal the settlement terms, but it would put a smile on your face...Have not heard a word from Mr. Aldrich. The notices crucified him. He requires a stout and ample cross, that one..." With hand-written corrections (note by recipient in top corner, stapled to onion skin carbon of Uris's reply). Very good condition.
